As an Industrial Spray Painter / Despatcher you’ll focus on painting heavy machinery components and assisting in dispatch by operating forklifts, loading/unloading trucks. While industrial painting experience is preferred, a good attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Rate: $26-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements:
Industrial spray-painting experience preferred, but not required
Proficient in spray gun operation, maintenance, and cleaning
Normal color vision to ensure accurate paint selection
Forklift endorsement (OSH is a must); F endorsement is a bonus
Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Typical Tasks:
Sand and clean surfaces in preparation for painting, removing rust and scale
Mask products ready for painting
Paint products with a high-quality finish
Inspect product and paint quality, addressing any issues that may arise
Conduct regular maintenance of painting equipment and machinery
Pick and package products for dispatch
Manage and reorder paint and consumable supplies
Loading and unloading trucks
