Our client has long-term projects and are now seeking 2 Painters to join their growing team.

You will be offered:

• Permanent employment in line with NZ employment law, with a competitive remuneration package to match your experience ($28-$32 per hour).
• 30-hour work week guaranteed.
• Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

To be successful for this role, you need to have the following skills and 2 years’ verifiable work experience in the Painting industry.

Successful candidates should have the following skills and experience:

• Prepares surfaces by removing old paint and filling holes and cracks, and covers surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
• Selects and mixes paints and stains to achieve desired colour and texture
• Applies paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers or other tools
• Smooths and sands surface between coats of paint or varnish, and inspects finished work to ensure quality and adherence to client specifications
• Collaborates with clients to determine colour schemes and finishes, and estimates materials and labour costs for painting projects
