Part-Time Customer Service Role at Shopping Mall
Location: Botany
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Availability: Fridays, weekends, and on-call as needed
About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support at our client's shopping mall. You will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience. This includes resolving issues, providing information, and going above and beyond to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer emails and phone enquiries
- Handling cash, processing banking, and end-of-day closing
- Assisting the marketing team with promotional campaigns and displays
- Managing lost and found items (including lost children)
- Helping customers with mobility equipment hire
- Selling gift vouchers
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of excellent customer service and is confident in delivering it. You will have great verbal and written communication skills, a calm demeanour under pressure, and a passion for working as part of a team to create a memorable customer experience.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency with computers and administrative tasks
- Data entry and Excel experience is a plus
- Flexibility to work additional hours when needed
