Service/ Department: Patient Safety and Quality Service
Contract: Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:
The Patient Safety and Quality Lead’s role is:

To embed a culture where patient safety and quality are fundamental pillars to success.

To work in partnership with clinical teams to support them to improve the patient’s journey and outcomes through thematic data analysis and systems review.

To provide support to the Clinical Groups to grow and embed their Clinical Governance Frameworks.
A sound knowledge of clinical governance and improvement methodology will enable the Patient Safety and Quality Lead to effectively drive, navigate, and build capability and capacity within Group Leadership teams to support them to deliver on key quality and patient safety workstreams.
If you have the experience and ability to move ideas to action, act as the critical friend and bring people together through exceptional communication skills and strong leadership, this role may be for you.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in healthcare, quality and safety, along with experience in managing initiatives focused on continuous improvement. You are collaborative, proactive, and dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patient care.

Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, or a related field.
-
Proven ability to lead quality improvement projects and initiatives in a healthcare setting.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
