Ngā kawenga | About the role

We are recruiting for two new Payroll Officers to join our friendly payroll team. One role will be within our ACC Team and one within our core payroll team. Our vision is to be a high performing team that provides accurate and timely pay outcomes with excellence in customer service to our 10,000 whānau.

This is an environment where you will learn and develop as a professional, gaining key experience in a large organisation. You'll manage end to end payroll processing activities, which include managing a portfolio for rostered, casual and salaried staff.

A typical day would see you processing complex payroll transactions, peer-reviewing, handling queries and investigations, and of course- the morning quiz.

This is a professional and collaborative environment with the opportunity to work alongside motivated people who are inclusive and engaging with a focus on training and development. We hold a daily stand-up where we offer support to each other as a team.

  

He kōrero mōu | About you 

These roles would suit either a payroll experience, or a recent Graduate in a field like HR or Commerce who is looking for a supportive environment to develop in. 

 

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • A customer service focus to all you do
  • Payroll experience, or a willingness to learn quickly
  • The ability to manage relationships well
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
  • Sound experience with MS Office, especially Excel and Word

  

Utu ā-tau | Salary

The midpoint of the salary range is $66,007 and the full range (85%-120%) is $56,006 - $79,209. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
