Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

This is an entry level payroll position, where we will support you to become a professional Payroll Specialist. Our team is playing a crucial role in ensuring that people are paid right, on time and in accordance with legislation.

To do that we work in partnership with our People and Culture teams and external agencies. In the role you will be responsible for:

  • General payroll administration tasks such as updating changes within our system.
  • Providing support and query resolution on system and employment agreement related policies, legislation, and processes.

As a Payroll Specialist at ACC, you'll be joining one of New Zealand's largest organisations that serves the people of Aotearoa every day. Mōu | About you

As we are willing to train you, we need someone with strong administrative skills and the ability to work in a structured way. We'll be looking for someone with:

  • A willingness to learn and a growth mindset
  • Good data entry and computer skills
  • A commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Some awareness of current payroll & HR legislation would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service that is accurate and timely

The appointing salary range for this role is $67,422-$74,936 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities.
