Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Systems Support Analyst to join us in this busy and varied role. We are looking for a minimum of 5 years - payroll experience within a large multi-disciplinary organisation. Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation is essential.
Some of your duties will include:
- Maintaining and updating Payroll data as required
- Ensuring validity and accuracy of system output from our Payroll system
- Responding accurately, promptly and courteously to Payroll customer enquiries and requests assigned
- Maintaining and updating Payroll processing documentation
- Applying systems knowledge to provide assistance to the Systems Administrator with testing of system upgrades and enhancements.
- Providing accurate, timely, and relevant routine reporting and analytical information to key customers

Payroll Services are part of the wider People and Communications team. We provide payroll services for both Hutt Valley and Wairarapa Hospitals processing pays for approximately 2400 employees at Hutt Valley and 650 employees at Wairarapa.
We are primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely payment of salary and wages to employees of both Hutt Valley and Wairarapa Hospitals. You will be joining a very friendly and supportive team, located in modern offices in Central Lower Hutt.
Moū - About you
We are looking for someone ready to take on a new challenge or progress their payroll system support career. You will come with the ability to work as part of the team in a sometimes pressured environment. Experience with AMS LEADER and/or PayGlobal HRMIS system is essential and preferably in a system support environment. Knowledge of the Heath Sector is desirable but not essential.
