- We're offering a competitive salary starting from $125,926 to $139,459, depending on experience
Mō te tūnga | About the role
As a member of the Strategy, Insights, and Performance team, you will lead efforts to advance data, insights, and performance strategies essential for informed decision-making and organisational success.
We're seeking a skilled Performance Lead to join Oranga Tamariki and enhance the way we collect and manage performance data. In this role, you will design and implement efficient methods for data collection and management, and present findings in a clear and accessible format. Your work will support the Strategy, Insights, and Performance team in developing effective strategies and enable frontline Social Work Services to make informed performance decisions. Some key aspects of the role include:
- Contributing to the design, implementation and maintenance of how we collect, store, manage and use performance data
- Consider data types most suitable for different forms of analysis that meet our needs and the needs of the different business units
- Monitoring relevant databases for structural issues and/or inconsistencies and implement strategies to prevent this in the future
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
Key requirements of the role include:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science of a similar field is preferred
- Certifications or additional training in data management and measurement is desirable
- Experience in extracting, analysing and presenting data for a range of purposes, adapting presentations to suit target audiences
- Advanced knowledge of data laws, standards, regulations, data platforms and tools, modelling and database designs
- Ability to contribute to performance data collection strategies and methods
- Highly effective organisation and planning skills and ability to prioritise work under time pressure
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
