OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in Taranaki.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Permit Issuer to join our clients manufacturing team on a long-term temporary assignment, starting March 2025. Based in Hawera, this role is crucial to ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue permits to work for various site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all issued permits.
- Collaborate with contractors and on-site personnel to verify permit requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to permit specifications.
- Assist in the review of risk assessments and safety documentation.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as needed
- 7am - 5pm
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Hold or have held a Permit Issuer certificate
