We are seeking for an exceptional Personal Assistant to support our dynamic Service Managers at Nelson Hospital

  • 1.0 FTE fixed term 14 months
  • 80 hours per fortnight

We are inviting applications from highly competent, organised Personal Assistants, ideally with a health sector background. 

As a PA to Service Managers, you will

  • Provide high-level administrative support the Service Managers, managing everything from scheduling and correspondence to meeting prep and follow-up.
  • Be the go-to person for organising and coordinating, ensuring all moving parts of the Clinical Support department align.
  • Assist in project planning and implementation, helping our team stay ahead in a past-evolving healthcare environment.
  • Manage communications with staffs, stakeholders, and partners- always with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Use your problem-solving skills to streamline processes, anticipate needs, and drive improvements.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • A detailed orientated multitasker with experience in an administrative or PA role, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a knack for picking up new system quickly.
  • A proactive, - can-do - attitude and a genuine passion for supporting healthcare services.
  • A willingness to be flexible, innovative and undertake other duties as required.
  • Empathy and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
