About Us

The ARFPS provides forensic mental health and intellectual disability services on a supra-regional basis. The ARFPS delivers a comprehensive range of care and treatment across a number of service user care pathways including Justice & Short Term Care, Extended Forensic Care and Rehabilitation, Tari Kaupapa Māori and Intellectual Disability.

About the role

The ARFPS is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to join the team.

Within this role you will provide personal assistance and administrative support to the ARFPS Group Manager, Clinical Director, Kaumātua and Associate Director of Nursing.

You will be working with the Senior Leadership Team; Charge Nurse Managers and other administration staff to ensure efficient administration processes and support is provided across the whole ARFPS service.

The skills you will need to be successful in this role are:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal

· Use your initiative and work independently is imperative to this role

· Be able to plan and understand and review processes

· The ability to problem solve

· Work autonomously, as well as being part of a large team

· Advanced computer skills

· Be able to work under pressure; whilst remaining calm
