We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated team at Nelson Hospital.

Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

In this permanent position, you will work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, optimise medication use, and improve patient outcomes across a variety of clinical settings.

You will work between 8am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday mornings and participation in the on-call roster will be required.

The full-time equivalent salary for this role is $82,856 - $107,600 (step 2-7) based on the current Allied Health PSA Collective Agreement, dependent on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications.

About you:

  • A qualified pharmacist with sound clinical skills.
  • Relevant hospital experience would be an advantage, but this role could suit someone newly qualified with a passion for hospital pharmacy.
  • Registered with the New Zealand Pharmacy council and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate or be eligible.
  • Be a New Zealand citizen or hold a resident visa.
