Consultant Physician General Medicine, Permanent position, Auckland City Hospital, Te Toka Tumai.
Rewarding opportunity for experienced Physicians to join the department of General Medicine, providing health care to adults in an inpatient setting.
We have 0.8 FTE (32 hours) to be shared amongst candidates - this is the opportunity to negotiate the number of hours you would prefer to work.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The General Medicine service is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Physicians who shares our vision for better care for our patients. The service comprises five teams of six-seven consultants. We are an inclusive, friendly team with excellent relationships amongst colleagues with varied subspeciality interests including infectious diseases, immunology and obstetric medicine. We are well supported by junior staff and we take regular annual and CME leave.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- You should be either registered or be eligible for vocational registration within the scope of General Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

- Previous experience as a Consultant Physician is desirable.
