The details: Permanent, 32 hours per fortnight
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist to join our busy Hamilton based physiotherapy team working in the field of pelvic health service. You will primarily be based in Hamilton however you may be required to work at other sites across the Waikato region. You will work as part of a team providing an efficient and effective service to our clients. This position will include the opportunity to extend your skills with the support and enthusiasm of a small team.
This position is ideal for a physiotherapist who is self-motivated, able to work independently at delivering services to patients. The role requires the successful applicant to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs and to have a genuine passion for working with patients and their whānau on their health journey.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Physiotherapy service has approximately 90 staff including Physiotherapists, assistants and administrators that work across the large geographical area that is Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. We have staff based at Waikato Hospital, our secondary hospital in Thames and our 3 rural hospitals in Tokoroa, Te Kuiti and Taumarunui and across our many community bases in areas such as Morrinsville, Matamata, Cambridge, and Ngaruawahia.

About you
- NZ physiotherapy registration, and a current annual practising certificate.
- Current valid full New Zealand drivers’ licence.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team across a variety of environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, their whanau, and other health care professionals.
- Experience providing physiotherapy in a pelvic health outpatient setting is desirable.
