Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing piling operations with a particular emphasis on retaining walls and slope stabilization projects.


As a Piling Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate all on-site piling activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Piling Foreman or in a similar leadership role.
· Extensive experience with retaining walls and slope stabilization projects.
· Strong understanding of piling techniques and geotechnical aspects.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Relevant certifications in piling, construction, and safety (e.g., SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
· Right to work in New Zealand

Duties:

  • Lead and supervise a team of piling operatives on site.
  • Oversee the installation of piles for retaining walls and slope stabilization projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor and manage project progress, including coordinating materials and resources.
  • Provide technical support to the project team and troubleshoot any on-site issues.
  • Conduct site inspections and report on progress, quality, and safety concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and site facilities to ensure smooth operations.
