Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

As our Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for the management and monitoring of a portfolio of health services.

You need to be a strong leader with the ability to build relationships with senior people, both internally and externally, to be able to proactively manage both the day-to-day activities and longer-term organisational risks, giving visibility and confidence to our leaders including ACC's Executive and Board.

Mōu | About you

Experience in managing health services is needed, as you will be managing a range of health services which impact on ACC recovery outcomes.

  • The ability to balance the operational tasks while thinking strategically about where we are, where we want to be and how we'll get there.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and adaptability.
  • Ability to oversee large contracts and developing strategic portfolio service plans
  • An understanding of service design concepts and systems thinking ability, with experience in driving positive change to achieve results.
  • Strong understanding of contract management methodologies, processes, and government guidelines.
  • Ability to work in partnership and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common outcome, and where appropriate, delivery through others.
  • An experienced people leader who can develop and support direct reports plus a proven ability to effectively influence others through strong verbal and written communication.
  • An openness to different ways of working and operating rhythms.
  • Ability to work within complex environments that may include areas of high ambiguity, sensitivity and may often impact several customer groups.

The base salary range for this role is $117,787 - $138,573 with appointment depending on skills and experience plus a generous 9% super contribution.
