Job Description
This FIFO role involves operating Posi-Track machinery, general mobile plant, as well as supervising and coordinating a team on site. Our client operates large scale earthworks sites in remote locations in Oceania, and is looking for a leading hand keen to take on a team in this challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operations, managing a team, and assisting with project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Posi-Track machinery to complete earthmoving, land clearing, grading, and other tasks
- Lead and supervise a team
- Assist in planning daily tasks, delegating work, and ensuring project deadlines are met
- Monitor site safety and ensure all team members comply with workplace health and safety regulations
- Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and management to coordinate day to day operations
- Train and mentor new operators and labourers as needed
- Report any mechanical issues, hazards, or incidents to management
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating Posi-Track or similar skid steer machinery
- 5+ years on site experience
- Ability to read site plans and execute tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Sea legs! (Significant sea travel to the worksite involved)
- 2 x industry references
- Valid passport
