About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Finished Products, you will manage the afternoon shift team (4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday) within the Powdercoat Department.
 
Your key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising and optimising production processes to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Leading and motivating your team to achieve production targets and maintain high morale.
  • Implementing Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Coordinating with planning and supply teams to meet delivery schedules.
About You
You are a hands-on leader with proven experience in powder coating or surface finishing.
You’ll bring:
  • 5 years in a supervisory or management role within a production environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive performance and motivate teams.
  • Technical expertise in powder coating processes and quality standards (ISO9001).
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate teams and schedules effectively.
