About the Role
 
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Finished Products, you will lead the afternoon shift (4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday) within the Powdercoat Department. Your leadership will be key to ensuring excellence across production, quality, and process improvement.
 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and optimizing powder coating processes to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Inspiring and guiding your team to achieve production targets while fostering a positive, motivated work environment.
  • Driving Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and swiftly resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborating with planning and supply teams to meet strict delivery schedules.
 
About You
 
You are a hands-on leader with proven experience in powder coating or surface finishing. You have the skills and passion to drive both performance and team morale.
What You Bring:
  • Proven Experience: At least 5 years in a supervisory or management role within a production environment.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of powder coating processes and quality standards (ISO9001).
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to drive performance, motivate teams, and maintain high standards.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive, solutions-focused approach to technical and operational challenges.
  • Excellent Communication & Organisation: Ability to coordinate teams and schedules effectively.
