Ko te tīma - About your team

You'll be a part of the Equity, Partnerships and Intervention Design Team. Our team is responsible for designing and overseeing delivery of WorkSafe's priority plans. This involves working across the business and with stakeholders, including sector groups and iwi to promote culturally responsive approaches to reducing workplace harm.

Ō te tūranga - About the role

As the Principal Advisor, you will work closely with the Project Lead in undertaking the discovery and analysis to support WorkSafe Mahi Haumaru's provision of guidance.  

This is a fixed term role until 27 June 2025. We are also open to an inter-agency secondment.

  • Deliver timely, high-quality, and solution focused advice and project outputs
  • Plan, schedule and monitor project timelines and milestones
  • Proactively identify and help resolve issues/blockers
  • Lead and implement specific project workstreams

Ko ngā pukenga ōu - What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience providing advice to senior leaders, including executive leaders
  • An ability to hit the ground running, getting up to speed with projects already underway
  • Excellent communication and planning and influencing skills
  • Proven experience undertaking complex pieces of analysis and producing insights

Awhe utu - Salary range

As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $127,488 to $168,609.  Note: KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
