- Provide advice and insight regarding long term investment planning
- Deep understanding of machinery of govt in long term infrastructure investment planning
- 4 month, hourly rate, ASAP start contract, Wellington or Auckland
We are looking for an experienced public sector Investment Planning practitioner who is available immediately for a 4 month hourly rate contract. This role could be Wellington or Auckland based.
This role requires the following knowledge, skills and experience:
• Expertise and experience with a deep understanding of the machinery of Government and the decision-making process including an understanding of the policy making process
• Excellent understanding of the planning and funding framework of local and central government and the related investment decision-making processes
• Good understanding of and comfort working with numericaland financial data
• Proven experience in leading and developing successfulfuture-focused advice and frameworks to inform and guideorganisational planning and investment
• Demonstrated experience in a role with a high level of strategic, analytical and conceptual thinking in a complex environment
• An understanding of the New Zealand public sector infrastructure environment and its policy, investment, planning and regulatory framework
