Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

As a key member of the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) Office team and reporting to the Manager DCE Office, you'll build trust through your collaborative partnership approach, turning insight into action and supporting the effectiveness of the Corporate & Finance group. With enterprise priorities in mind, you will cut through noise to quickly connect the dots, providing sound analysis and advice.

Ngā Haepapa Mahi | Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing and assessing information for the DCE, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Supporting the DCE in the implementation of ACC's business plan.
  • Provide research, analysis and advice to support the DCE and Office.
  • Maintain an overview of ACC activities including evaluating progress in key areas, agreed programmes and projects.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to the Corporate and Finance group.

The base salary range for this role is $117,787 - $166,288 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

Mōu | About you

  • You'll be an influencer and problem solver; you apply a partnership approach to your work and understand the value of being collaborative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. You can quickly build key relationships, gaining and maintaining trust and credibility across all levels.
  • You'll have sound experience providing high quality advice and support at an executive level, and an understanding and experience in government systems and processes.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to senior leaders; excellent verbal and written communication skills are required - this role is responsible for writing and reviewing board papers.
  • A background in or knowledge from working in finance or insurance.
  • A tertiary qualification relevant to a Corporate & Finance group such as business, policy, finance.
  • Ideally you will have held a similar senior advisory role with a combination of strategic and tactical experience.
