Process Specialist x2 - Dairy

Our client is based in Pokeno who are involved in the Dairy industry. They are looking for two Process Specialists who have significant experience in Dryer operation and Powder Production to join their team.

About the role:

Our client is offering a full-time position with 4 on, 4 off shift pattern - with the shift being 12 hours in duration.

• Ensuring quality and food policies are understood by the operating team.
• Focusing on reduction of losses across all processing areas.
• Keeping the team aligned with achieving daily production goals.
• Assisting problem solving sessions with operators.
• Driving plant cost saving initiatives.
• Responsible for reducing incidents and ensuring hazards are identified and rectified in a timely manner.
• Assisting the shift manager with SOP's and training processes.
• Capable of interchanging with the Shift Manager for special project functions.
• Ensuring all improvement initiatives are maintaining the safety of people, the plant and equipment.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in milk powder processing.
• Dairy manufacturing experience, working with infant or nutritional formula.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, wet mixing and 2 years supervision experience.
• Computer literate.
• Leadership skills.
• Great communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Excellent team player.
