What will you be doing | Ngā whainga 

You will work closely with New Zealand tourism operators to develop the New Zealand product proposition to support Tourism New Zealand's offshore campaign activity.

You will develop compelling product messages and facilitate marketing initiatives between the New Zealand industry and TNZ offshore teams to drive strategic outcomes such as off-peak travel.

The role works closely with the Global Manager Industry and Product Marketing and the Industry to ensure that product matching consumer preferences is represented and promoted throughout the whole consumer journey to deliver against TNZ strategic objectives. The role also supports the integration of subsidiaries Qualmark and VIN Inc into wider Tourism New Zealand marketing activity.

What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga

  • Tertiary qualification in Tourism, Marketing or Business Studies.
  • Marketing communications experience (minimum 5 years) with experience in both B2C and B2B communications.
  • A sound understanding of product management and product marketing.
  • Writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Tourism sector knowledge would be beneficial.
