Production Operator x2 - Dairy

Our client is based in Pokeno who are involved in the Dairy industry. They are looking for two Production Operators who have experience in Powder Production to join their team.

About the role:

Our client is offering a full-time position with 4 on, 4 off shift pattern - with the shifts being 12 hours in duration.

• Ensuring quality and food safety requirements are met.
• Taking samples when required.
• Ensuring production level targets are met.
• Maintaining timely, accurate documentation and records.
• Communicating any issues with management.
• Identify, reporting and eliminating/minimising all product losses.
• Following designated operating procedures.
• Maintaining high level of personal and plant hygiene.
• Following cleaning procedures to ensure the plant is clean.
• Participating in training/development activities.
• Participating in Health & Safety improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or processing is preferred.
• Previous experience in milk powder processing.
• Dairy manufacturing experience, working with infant or nutritional formula.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Strong adherence to workplace Health and Safety practices.
• Computer literate.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
