Ngā kawenga | About the role

We are looking for a Programme Manager - Digital to help lead our Corporate Systems product group at Ara Poutama Aotearoa.

The Corporate System product group is responsible for developing and managing the lifecycle of the solutions and services that enable our corporate business departments including finance, people & culture, legal, procurement and organisational performance.

We are looking for a confident, experienced person who will work with the System Owner to lead the Corporate Systems product group. Fostering strong working relationships across our business to identify opportunities, taking responsibility for investment planning, and driving the strategic roadmap is key to your success. You will create high-quality plans and investment cases for the initiatives, manage the backlog and provide oversight of the team to deliver. You will also be part of a wider leadership team, working with other Programme Managers and the PMO, to collaborate, prioritise and harmonise on the delivery of the overall Digital Portfolio.

We need someone who is highly organised with experience of managing a diverse set of requirements into a prioritised product roadmap. Our Programme Managers use their stakeholder management, interpersonal and digital skills to manage the demands of the business from idea through investment case into the product backlog. If you have experience managing business stakeholder expectations in a complex environment with competing demands, we want to talk to you!

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

To do this role you'll need:

  • Knowledge of large SaaS applications with a strong understanding of managing change. SAP and ServiceNow experience is advantageous.
  • Effective management of roadmaps, budgets, investment cases and strategic roadmaps.
  • Experience of working collaboratively within a product or portfolio to manage the delivery of a solution or service from inception to benefit realisation.
  • A demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative relationships with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical language.
  • Outstanding leadership and organisational skills, and effective management of communications, risks and change management demands.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

The midpoint of the salary range is $175,134 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $148,864 - $210,161 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
