Mō te tūnga | About the role

We're looking for a proactive and task focused operator to join our team and work collaboratively alongside Project Managers and project teams to coordinate project development and delivery across Ara Poutama's diverse work programme.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering timely preparation and maintenance of project plans and schedules; coordination of project and governance meetings; monitoring and reporting on progress of activities; risk register management; and ensuring regular and open communication with frontline staff and managers involved in the implementation of new operational practices, systems and initiatives.

Fixed Term until March 2024

 

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

You will be an experienced project coordinator with:

  • Cultural Capability - A strong understanding of Hōkai Rangi and our cultural values. An understanding of te reo me ona tikanga is beneficial however not essential.
  • strong prioritisation skills – you thrive when given responsibility to plan, organise and deliver tasks to set deadlines, and you quickly establish and maintain practical systems to manage your workload effectively
  • ability to coordinate multiple projects/workstreams
  • natural collaboration abilities, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with peers and stakeholders at different levels
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take accurate minutes as well as collate, summarise, and present information in a variety of formats to suit your audience
  • strong attention to detail, in both the work you produce and with monitoring progress, actions and upcoming due dates

 

Utu ā-tau | Salary

Salary band has a midpoint of $71,527 with a full range between $60,798 - $85,833 per annum with appointment and remuneration reflective of skills and experience relevant to the role.
