Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity
The Project Coordinator ensures the day-to-day activities of each programme workstream are coordinated and supported to the agreed level and within scope. You will work as part of a wider programme coordination team in a changing and developing environment, with your core focus being to support the Change and Process workstream.
As Project Coordinator you will work closely with the workstream director and managers to help support programme workstream deliverables, planning, reporting and logistics. You will be involved with the day-to-day management of programme registers, schedules, progress tracking, budgeting and reports. Your focus will be on achieving excellence in project coordination and best practice procedures and processes, to ensure agreed outputs are delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Experience as a project coordinator in a formal project environment with multiple workstreams
- Demonstrated competence in reporting, including month-end and financial reporting
- An understanding of the machinery of government (including Ministers' offices, ministerial and government processes)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Experience using Microsoft products
- A willingness to be a team player, and to contribute as necessary to deliver programme outcomes of a high standard

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The salary range for this role is between $72,634 and $100,846, with the likely appointing salary between $72,634 and $93,591, based on skills and experience.
