Position: Project Engineer - Electrical
Job Type: Fixed-Term – 16 to 18 Months (with potential for extension)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer - Electrical to join our team in Christchurch. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in electrical engineering and installation practices, coupled with strong teamwork, problem-solving, and compliance abilities. Hands-on experience in the field is highly valued and essential for success in this role.
Other responsibilities include:
  • Ensure all electrical installations adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify, analyse, and resolve electrical engineering issues promptly.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets efficiently.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Skills & Experience | Whakatū rākau
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • Proven local experience in electrical engineering and installation practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Practical, hands-on experience in electrical engineering and fieldwork is highly preferred.
