Project Manager (Critical Systems environment)

Our customer is continuing to grow and now seeks a Project Manager to help them deliver additional services to their customer.

A background / expertise in the following will be required:

• A background of successful delivery of software support / software application projects
• Experience working in an IT Services or for an IT Systems Integrator is important
• Leading staff will be important as you will have a team of Engineers providing expertise to an external customer
• Our customer is implementing / supporting / upgrading mission critical systems so prior expertise delivering projects into environments where ‘every second counts’ will be useful

On top of the above we seek someone who has

• Ideally a degree in an IT or Engineering or Computer Science field
• A clean criminal record is a must
• You will need to already have a NZ Govt Security clearance or a NZSIS clearance as given the nature of this role you will need this (unfortunately if you don't have a current clearance you won't be shortlisted0
• You must be a New Zealand Citizen or hold a NZ Resident Visa

There is likely to be some travel in and around NZ but your main office is here in Wellington
