He angitūtanga | About the role
Reporting to the Digital Transformation Manager and working closely with the Information Management and project teams, you will drive our inflight Information Management transformation and successfully deliver the project within time and budget.
You will inspire the project team and the organisation, and act with good foresight and judgement. Leveraging your excellent communication skills and your experience as an IT project manager, you will easily transition between technical, operational and governance.

We are seeking a strong and inspirational project leader who is adept at engaging with a range of people and can get the best out of a project team and suppliers. You will quickly grasp the trajectory of the project and see where your leadership will add the greatest value.
Required skills and experience:
- Practitioner qualification and skills in project management, e.g. Prince 2 or PMP
- Experience in managing IT projects
- Strong delivery focus.
- Skilled in project management in a complex and changing environment, translating analysis into practical implementation.
- Skilled in using a range of project management approaches, e.g. agile and waterfall
- Able to lead people and manage resources and budgets effectively with or without line authority.
- Skilled in developing relationships, communicating and liaising with senior managers, partners, internal and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, writing and negotiation skills.
- Able to take evidence and data around complex issues and turn it into and present insightful advice.
Additional desirable skills:
- Experience delivering modern Microsoft SharePoint implementations.
- Understanding of Information Management practices and requirements under the Public Records Act.

The salary range for this position is $107,544 - $144,321 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
