Job Description
Our client is in need of an experienced Project Manager to support current and forward wastewater infrastructure work-in-progress. This opportunity will appeal to candidates who are successful at juggling the many facets of complex civil water projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
The Role
- Coordinate internal and external parties to push current and future projects to completion- on time and to the company’s and clients’ requirements
- Manage and maintain project documentation and reports, including project controls, progress reports and administration
- Provide assistance and expertise in every step of the project lifecycle (including the development of project designs, budgets, schedules, contract documents, and regulatory review/permitting processes) to ensure the customers’ needs meet outcome
- Act as a key contact with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for the organisation
The Candidate
- 5+ years Project Management experience in the civil water or infrastructure sector- managing project programming, variations, conceptual and design development, and user group management
- Experience in Wastewater Treatment Plant construction and/or upgrades
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand building regulations
- Working knowledge and experience of sub-contractor management
- Recognised safety training
