Our client is seeking a Contract Project Manager to oversee a pivotal project focused on smart metering implementation and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully delivering projects within the energy sector, particularly in smart metering.
Contract Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end smart metering projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, operations, and customer service, to achieve project goals.
- Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of smart metering systems.
- Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal contractors background:
- Extensive experience in Project Management within the gas or electric industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in smart metering projects, with a strong understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to smart metering.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience working with major energy providers.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and innovations in smart metering technology.
