About the role:

This is the chance to be involved in a $1 billion infrastructure programme in the healthcare sector. Before upgrades can be made to the core functional structures, the supporting facilities and infrastructure needs to be upgraded. We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join a dedicated team and help take this programme through to completion.

Ideally you'll come from a mechanical engineering background, with strong experience in boiler systems, fuel storage & pipelines, HVAC, or other building services/assets gained inside an engineering consultancy or potentially a leading mechanical/industrial contractor. Either way, you will need polished client facing skills, strong contract administration ability & experience in both design management & delivery of major mechanical packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Management
  • Managing and coordinating contractors, consultants and key stakeholders
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary project team
  • Client and stakeholder management
  • Technical advisory and due diligence

Successful applicants will have:

  • Ideally, 8-10 years’ in a technically demanding PM role
  • A background in mechanical or industrial engineering, ideally process/pipelines or similar
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
  • A creative approach to problem solving & solutions
  • Ability to read & understand complex plans/drawings
  • New Zealand experience is required!
