Role:
You are responsible for the management of the overall direction, co-ordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects to ensure the long-term success and profitability of their business.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of projects by leading the project team and subcontractors
- Manage and direct contract administration, understanding contractual requirements and expectations
- Documentation, scheduling, and progress reporting
- Full cost management including budgeting, cost control and forecasting
- Stakeholder engagement and working closely with the client
- Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure all safety, environment and quality processes are followed up for the job
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the NZ Civil Construction industry
- BE or NZCE or significant industry experience
- Project experience in transport, roading infrastructure, connections with local authority
- Experience managing teams and sub-contractors with strong leadership skills
- Proficient in project management software
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding NZ3910 is preferred
- Safety related certification
