About the role
Work for this diverse and busy civil contractor. Its projects are broad and multifaceted they includes the construction of roads and bridges, storm water drainage, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as piling, precast concrete elements and landscaping. This contractor has projects all over wellington moving forward so if you are looking at staying busing in you next year, this is a great option for you.
Project Managers here have excellent business skills and treat the project as a business enterprise with an eye on the goal of completing on-time, with a bigger profit margin than budgeted, and with a client so happy they ask for you by name again. Bring a focus on health and safety is imperative to this role, as you must assist in driving a strong safety culture in all day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for the Site Engineers and Project Engineers that are working on your sites.
About you
- You are a leader who knows how to get the best out of their team
- You have at least 5 years experience working on civil infrastructure projects in NZ
- Familiar liaising with the local authorities / councils when required.
- You have a tertiary qualification in engineering (preferable, although not essential)
- You have worked on civil infrastructure projects that are worth over NZD$5 million
