The Role
As a consultant Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of varied capital projects across the full project life-cycle, working closely with client teams and managing all phases of project execution. Based in Hawkes Bay, you’ll oversee complex engineering projects for some of New Zealand’s most recognized food and beverage companies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary client contact for multiple projects.
· Manage schedule, cost, quality, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
· Oversee quality and technical accuracy of engineering deliverables.
· Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and client teams to ensure smooth project execution.
· Develop and implement procurement strategies and manage the project team setup.
About You
· Tertiary qualified with a Mechanical/ Process/ Chemical Engineering Degree
· Certified Project Manager, PMP, Prince2 or similar
· 5+ years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
· Professional experience managing brownfield projects within complex industrial processing plants.
· Developed communication and soft skills, including report writing and presentations.
· A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results.
· Current, unrestricted work rights for New Zealand
