Job Description
We are seeking a Project professional with exceptional programme and project management skills to join a new multi-disciplinary and flexible team for a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role will be dedicated to supporting the mobilisation and coordination of a new project workstream working alongside senior managers, you will support the effective coordination of the portfolio, assisting with governance; providing advice to senior leaders; and supporting the management of activities, risks and issues to help drive delivery towards strategic goals.
Skills and Experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• A project or programme management qualification (PRINCE 2, AGILE, MSP)
• A minimum of 4 years public sector experience in managing and delivering projects / programmes.
• Sound planning and organisation, including the ability to prioritise activities and plan to deliver critical milestones.
• Ability to actively manage dependencies, risks and issues
• Experience of providing governance support to senior leaders
• Preparation of reports and advice to senior leaders and Ministers (Briefings, AMs, Dashboard Exception Reports, Project Reporting)
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• An awareness and / or understanding of social services.
