Commercial Property Manager – Christchurch, Nelson Marlborough
- Hourly rate contract
- 6 months from January 2025
- Work autonomously, managing a large, leased commercial property portfolio
We are partnering with a nationwide organisation in the search for a Property Manager for the Christchurch, Nelson & Marlborough region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional to work autonomously managing a commercial property portfolio.
In this role you’ll be:
- Managing the region’s leased property portfolio, ensuring security of tenure and value for money.
- Identifying synergies across the organisation and looking for opportunities to optimise space utilisation.
- Managing commercial tenancies and subtenancies.
- Managing relationships with landlords and external providers.
You’ll need experience in:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial property, either as a commercial property consultant, or through a similar role within a corporate or government organisation.
- The end-to-end management of leases, rent reviews, expiries, renewals and maintenance.
- Analysing and reporting on leased property, including risks and mitigation.
- Financial feasibility and Whole of Life Cost modelling.
This is an hourly rate contract for 6 months, starting in January 2025. Based in Christchurch, there will be some travel to Nelson Marlborough.
