About us

We have three linear accelerators, delivering over 1500 courses of radiation therapy per year to a wide range of indications and supported by tertiary specialities and providing the NZ cranial stereotactic radiosurgery service. We use Brainlab and Monaco planning systems. We have an established research group and are involved in both radiation and systemic therapy trials.

About you

We are ideally looking for a radiation oncologist with experience caring for patients with head and neck cancers and also gynaecological cancers, plus also a willingness to provide clinical care across other tumour streams.

To join us, you'll need the following:

  • A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists or equivalent
  • Eligibility for vocational or Locum Tenens registration in Radiation Oncology with the Medical Council of New Zealand

We also encourage applications from those who are very close to completing their radiation oncology training and thus meeting these requirements.

Salary range

This role belongs to the ASMS Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($185,380) and Step 15 ($267,980) per annum pro-rata. Due to the nature of this role, we offer a competitive salary package.
