About the opportunity:

Based in Kerikeri or Kaitaia, they have a vacancy for a qualified Refrigeration Engineer or Electrician to join their service team. Traveling around Northland may be required so you need to be energetic, hardworking and welcome any challenges that come with the role.
Role description:
As
Refrigeration Engineer / Electrician, you will be responsible for residential, commercial and industrial servicing and general repairs. As well as being involved in residential housing and heat pump installation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipment
- Read blueprints and electrical and electronic schematics
- Operate tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems
- Apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests to ensure the systems is working properly following repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems
This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities:
- 5+ years experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
- Fully qualified
- Experience in residential housing and heat pump installation
- Full clean New Zealand drivers license with good driving record
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Can work independently
- A high level of customer service skills
