Job Description
A leader in the automotive industry, both in New Zealand and Australia, operating nearly 20 sites across the Auckland region, this is a stable, established company who continue to grow.
The Regional HSE Manager will work closely with business leaders, stakeholders and employees to ensure effective delivery of policy, standards and best practice in health and safety. To provide visibility within the region, you will work from a different site each day, maintaining communication and engagement.
Duties will include
Successful candidates will have proven experience in a similar role, this is not a development opportunity, you need to be able to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
Strong ability to translate technical requirements is needed and you’ll be comfortable in an operational environment and able to identify gaps in procedure, strategy or legal requirements.
The role includes a vehicle, there’s free parking on site and employees enjoy a range of benefits including discounted health insurance and staff discounts on vehicles, servicing and parts.

- Oversee and deliver HSE training
- Injury Management and Health Risk programmes
- Investigations and audits
- Contractor Management
- Coordinate regional committees and HSR groups

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- ICAM, Taproot or similar qualification
- Lead Auditor ISO45001 / ISO9001
- Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
- Full clean driver’s licence
