About you
Success in the role of a Registered Midwife with us is characterised by several key factors:
- Top-notch Maternity Care: Consistently delivering high-quality and compassionate maternity care to women and their babies. This includes ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of both mother and child throughout the childbirth process.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Effective collaboration with a diverse and skilled team. Working seamlessly with midwives, nurses, healthcare assistants, obstetric registrars, and Senior Medical Officers is crucial for the overall success of the unit.
- Continuous Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of the latest advancements in midwifery and healthcare. Participating in training and educational opportunities, contribution to personal growth and improved patient care.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
