Salary:     As per MERAS/NZNO MECA Step 2 - 7

With modern, purpose-built facilities and supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you - ll work across antenatal, labour, birthing suite and postnatal ward areas as well as Kenepuru and Paraparaumu Birthing Units. The work here is both diverse and rewarding - provided in an environment that puts mothers and babies at the centre of all that we do.

As a member of a friendly and collaborative team of midwives you will be able to: 

  • Work across both the Delivery Suite and the Antenatal and Postnatal pods 
  • Work in purpose built suites and pods at Wellington Regional Hospital 
  • Have educational opportunities on the Quality Leadership Programme fully supported by Wellington and Hutt Hospital 
  • As a primary, secondary and tertiary unit, we offer full maternity care through our midwifery and specialist teams.
