Dunedin Hospital

  • Salary band - $75,000 - $106,000 p.a pro-rata and Kiwisaver
  • 0.6 FTE / 24 Hours per week
  • Fixed-term until 29/12/2024

Mō te tūranga - About the role

  • Ward 7c is a 20 bed Cardiology / Renal ward accepting Acute and Chronic Cardiology patients and Acute and Chronic Haemodialysis / Peritoneal Dialysis patients from Waitaki to Bluff
  • Work closely with the Renal Dialysis Unit, Coronary Care Unit and the Cardiac Cath Lab
  • 8 bed Day Unit which accepts both Renal and Cardiology patients for elective procedures

Mōu ake - About you

  • Current NZ RN Registration and an APC
  • Previous experience in Cardiology or Nephrology preferred
  • Proven ability to work in a high output area
  • Be highly organised and have a systematic approach to your work
  • Able to use your initiative and have the ability and confidence to practice both autonomously and collaboratively and without direct supervision

The successful applicant will have the support of a CNM a Cardiology Nurse Educator and Renal Nurse Educator a comprehensive orientation will be given.

Utu whānui - Salary range

This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($75,773 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a pro-rata) of the RN scale
