About the Role
We currently have a fixed term role available for a Registered Nurse to cover parental leave in our Cardiovascular Unit.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The CVU is comprised of two coronary angiography cath labs and a recovery area at North Shore Hospital. Procedures include coronary angiography, angioplasty and device implantations e.g. permanent pacemaker and ICD.
CVU is open from 7.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and staff usually work 8 hour shifts.
About you
As a Healthcare Assistant the following are required:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Cath lab and cardiology experience is essential
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute hospital setting
- Strong command in English
- Excellent customer service practises
