Permanent part-time position available 0.7FTE working mainly, but not exclusively, PM and night shifts.
Applicants' musts have NZ Nursing Council Registration and be eligible to work in NZ at the time of applying.

Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
The VRM permanent resource pool team play an important role in responding to the acute needs of the wards and departments and requires you to practice both independently and in collaboration with your nursing colleagues and other health professionals to assess consumers health needs. You will utilise your advanced knowledge and experience in general surgical/medical/acute care nursing to provide quality care, advice and support consumers to manage their own health.
We have a 0.7FTE position available working 56hrs a fortnight. This position will predominantly, but not exclusively, work afternoon and night shifts across a variety of wards/units at Wairau Hospital.

You will have current NZNC registration and a practising certificate and will be a vibrant and enthusiastic registered nurse or enrolled nurse with at least 2 years post-registration general surgical / medical / acute care nursing experience. It will be important that you have a commitment to providing a quality service and being part of a high performing team. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills and will enjoy keeping up to date with clinical practice.

The full-time equivalent salary range for:
- a Registered Nurse is $81,683 to $106,739 (from 1 April 2024)
- an Enrolled Nurse is $72,985 to $83,349 (from 1 April 2024)
based on the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery MECA (March 2023 - 31 October 2024) dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.
