The District Nursing Service is looking for registered nurses to join their team. Hours of work will be rostered shifts Monday-Sunday.
The service provides a wide range of specialised nursing care in the community between 0800-2300hrs, seven days a week, from seven sites across MidCentral Health region. We are an enthusiastic team with a keen focus on the delivery of innovative, specialised nursing care in the community setting. We are committed to quality and service improvement processes which are well established.
We require team players who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills and who are committed to the provision of quality nursing care in the community.
Applicants will need to have advanced skills and current knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Wound care, Palliative care, or Intravenous therapy. A current practising certificate and current driver's licence are also essential.
The annual salary for the appointment will be within the range from step 1 (new graduate) $75,773 to step 7 $106,739 dependent on the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant. Salary is proportionate to hours worked.
