ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current New Zealand APC
- Registered Nurse with no restrictions
- The successful appointee must meet the statutory and organisational requirements for working with children, as per the Children Act 2014 and MidCentral District policy, including a satisfactory police check and other safety checking processes
- Recent experience in hospital acute care setting.
- Current Level 2 PDRP (or working towards level 3)
- Has required technical skills, certification or credentials eg IV, PCA
- Competent using a computer
- Is prepared to and has the ability to learn new web based clinical applications required for the role. Undertakes training if required
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- CORE resus trained
- TNCC certification
- CENNZ triage certification
- Paediatric emergency nursing experience

The Emergency Department at Palmerston North Hospital, Midcentral is looking for dedicated, compassionate people who are passionate about making a difference.
These are permanent roles, 1.8 FTE available working rostered, rotating shifts.
