- Shifts are 8 hours per day and rostered

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will maintain and enhance the professional standards of nursing and contribute to further development of nursing within the service. You will have the ability to participate as an effective member of the wider organisation. In this role you will utilise professional knowledge and skills to provide a holistic approach to nursing care that is safe and of the highest quality possible. Emergency nursing experience is essential to fulfil working in this fast paced and busy hospital emergency department

About you
- Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
- Recent emergency nursing experience working within a busy hospital with patients that require complex care
- Good communication and people skills
- Demonstrate an ability to practice in a culturally safe manner
Registered Nurses with experience in triage, initial assessment and management of acute and critical patients as part of a team in an emergency setting, will be highly desired.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
