About the role

The ENT Outpatient Department is a busy, challenging and rewarding place to work. As a Clinic Nurse, you'll work as a member of the multidisciplinary team with a primary focus to provide excellent patient care.

Some of your tasks will include the following:

  • Post-surgical wound care; head and neck wound management
  • Pre-admission assessment
  • Laryngectomy patient speech prosthesis changes
  • Tracheostomy advice and support
  • Infection control
  • Otoscopy and ear cleaning with a microscope
  • Assisting in minor procedures such as lesion removal, Epistaxis control and biopsies

  • Hold current New Zealand Registration with a valid APC

Salary range

This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($75,773 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a pro-rata) of the RN scale
