About the role
The ENT Outpatient Department is a busy, challenging and rewarding place to work. As a Clinic Nurse, you'll work as a member of the multidisciplinary team with a primary focus to provide excellent patient care.
Some of your tasks will include the following:
- Post-surgical wound care; head and neck wound management
- Pre-admission assessment
- Laryngectomy patient speech prosthesis changes
- Tracheostomy advice and support
- Infection control
- Otoscopy and ear cleaning with a microscope
- Assisting in minor procedures such as lesion removal, Epistaxis control and biopsies

About you
Ideally you will have had some exposure to ENT before, however, for the right candidate we will provide the guidance needed to succeed in the role and we are happy to consider any applicants with the drive to contribute to the team and help our patients get the right care.
- Hold current New Zealand Registration with a valid APC
- Able to work within a close team environment
- Motivated, flexible and ambitious
- Willing to learn, develop, and practice new clinical skills

Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($75,773 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a pro-rata) of the RN scale
